Help with values (39 ford 40 chevy) PICS

I ran across a couple cars the other day and I'm wondering if any of you could help me out with possible values.

The first one is a 39 ford deluxe coupe, noe engine or tranny, he calims he has the hood in a garage.

The second one is a 40 Chevy business coupe. Engine and tranny are there, again he claims to have the hood in a garage somewhere.

    comments?

    thanks.

I'm no car valuator but, at a carshow I saw a '37 ford humpback, unrestored but solid sell for 5,500 or 6,500 but those cars are probably worth around 1,500- 2,500 each but I woulden't pay any more than 500 each myself.

My 39 Chevy 2-door sedan, (which I drove home) completely restored original, I paid $5,000 for and still have found a number of small rust areas and issues while building my rod. I think that $500 is all I would pay for either, based on the condition in the pictures.
