    351M transmissions?

OK, I just blew the motor in my RX-7, so I'm going to put a 351M in the car. I have the motor, but no transmission.

And I read somewere a while ago when I was searching on this motor, that it takes big block transmissions? Is this true? Or will a regular 351W/351C tranmission bellhousing bolt to the motor?

Also, were can I get a flywheel wheel, pressure plate, and clutch for this enigne?

Helf me break away from the rotary!

    Thanks, Cory

Yes that is true It takes a big block tranny. C-6 are the best.

I'm looking for a manual tranny. My #1 choice is a top loader, but they're rare, and even rarer for a big block.

Does anyone know of any other tough manual tranmissions that will fit this motor?

Also, is the 351M a good motor?
