We took the '51 out for a spin a few nights ago
Me, my dad and my brother ran the '51 up and down the road tuesday, we made about 4 rounds and then when we were turning around for the last time we felt it skip, we were going down hill and the engine cut out but we coasted it down the hill within 500 foot of my house and then, I ran and got a gas can full of gas and a 3/8 rubber gas line and then we had to run the car off the 1 gal gas can to get it the 500 foot to the house. As many know the former owner of the car cut the line to put rubber line in and a fuel filter. We now know that the screen at the tank ( if there is 1 ) or the hard gas line is slightly plugged and the last time it compleatly plugged. 1ce we started it with the small gas can, the clear view fuel filter filled right full and normally on the gas tank in the car it is half full or less. You don't know what you've got til it's gone
