HEY WAD: I have an orginal 1948 Chevy 1/2 ton for sale. I see a lot of them on S 10 frames with newer beds. I guess it is what look you want the bed to have, some are have much more rounded curved fenders than others. The nice thing about old Chevy pickup's is that you can buy every part, nut bolt and screw for those trucks. I just back from NSRA Street Rod Nationals in Louisville and those old trucks were the most common vehicle there. Some where really tricked...............DAVE
