    Question oil pan question?

    Hello.
Im looking at buying an oil pan for my 350 sbc. He says the pan was bought for a Chevy 307 and that it should fit, but the dipstick length may be different. Will a 307 pan fit on my 350? HG
Im not real smart, but I can lift heavy things.

A 307 pan will bolt to a 350. Chevrolet made a number of pans for the small block Chevy the bolt pattern is the same on all of them, but they may be shaped differently depending on the car they were being used in. Also some gaskets may be slightly different.

Of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!
