    Talking WOW! Sensory Overload!!!

Just got home from Hot August Nights in Reno and I am still trying to catalog the memories! This is the most awesome Hot Rod Event I have ever been too. It got to the point where I could not decide what to look at or take a picture of next! I have about 80-90 pictures that I will upload as soon as Brent makes a Car Show Gallery for me. I'll post a couple samples here. The great thing about this weekend is the whole city becomes the event. You walk around the Show and Shines (there are 5 going on at once all over town) and see all these cars and then later you will see them out crusing around, not only at the controlled cruises, but just about everywhere. I have never seen so many blown, tubbed, wheelie-barred or slammed cars driving around in my life! We sat out in front of our motel and just watched them go by, then fired up the Studebaker and got in amongst them! 5000 registered cars in the event and probably that many more that were in town that could not get in. There was a guy with a Dodge Charger Daytona staying at our motel that was not in the event, but he drove it down from Seattle (600 miles) just to be there. I'll add more to the story later, but in the mean time here's a couple pics for ya. I also have some "WhatIzIts" for ya.

Of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!

    Check out these triplets!

These guys were one of the hits of the show! The tandem car had an air ride suspension! When they stopped dad would drop it, then raise it back up when they moved on. The single that Mom was pushing had big meats on the back. Talk about starting them off right!
