Looking for lenders that will finance a car for me out of state and with open title
I was approved through capital one but the guy I was buying the car from said the car had an open title and they would sign check over to him unless title was in his name. So, he told me to use a lender that will finance me with the car having an open title...please if you guys know of any lenders that ya'll use often or would help me out please list em.
Thanks

MrMustang is right. Around here, the term used is title jumping. Have the guy put the title in his name and there is no problem.

If this guy is on the up & up then he won't mind you checking the numbers to the VIN. plate, if they match and you still want this car then offer to pay to have the paperwork done with you there at the DOL and take it off the sale price. Then if it's a "money" thing he will agree...if not then it's a rip-off.Jim
".......So sanded it all down and resprayed. ......" Been there. done that on a couple of paint jobs over the years. Usually took me a couple of days to get over being mad before I started...
