Hey fella's. Its been a while. Been trying to learn a new addition to my job title at work. Nortel DMS100. Tele-swith. It has consumed me. LOL's.
Anyway...Been piddling with the IRS a little....finally got the stiffener plates welded in on the batwings. Turned out nice. Should polish up nice.....unless I get burned out and just bead blast it to match the factory finish. Undecided still
Still waiting on my fuel tank. Heck of an ordeal. Fella keeps promising the next day....then the next...then the next. But by gosh....I'm patient! Just hope he gets something mocked up so I can test fit it while the ground is frozen. LOL's.
How's the progress on the Bronco II Dave? Get those big balonies stuffed under it yet? I'll go back and read through the threads. Just kinda sorta missed you guys!
Pro.....looking good. I dont mind the dust....work in progress as I see it. I miss the prostreet stuff. Funny....in a town of less than 10,000 at the time....there sure was a bunch of 33x21.50 rolling around town. Of coarse....yours is more purposefully built for the strip...right?
Falcon.....you side step on that thing and you'll blow the rubber plumb off the rims.
Uncle Bob....now I'm going to have to refab my motor mounts. Those look way better than mine. BTW....when I donate (your a moderator...correct?)....how much do most folks give....and please dont say $5000...cant do that. Do we have a T-shirt bonus....is what I'm getting at....for a certain given amount. Not that I need it...just wondering. I've finally decided to make CHR my home for good. Got sick of the drama 'elsewhere' from 'someone' we all know here that is a 'mod' over there.

Thanks for the nice words on the mounts. As for the moderator thing, not me, they knew better than to give me that much power..............
If I were in charge of donations though I'd follow the same suggestion I give a potential buyer when I'm selling a car or parts..............just keep peelin' off $100 bills til I say stop!

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.
Luck occurs when preparation and opportunity converge.
