Well, had a little spare time today and did some work on the Camaro. Looked around and didn't see anyone's frame ties that did everything I wanted them to do so I started building my own. Seems the one's sold only connect the front and back, no other points. Building mine so I can tie them into the two reinforcement on the floor of the car. The main hoop for the roll bar will set directly over the top of the rear mount point, and the door bar will mount directly above the front frame tie attach point.... I'm using 1 1/2" DOM for the frame ties, and 1 5/8" DOM for the 6 point roll bar, should tie everything together well. Also thinking of adding a rear crossmember/drive shaft hoop on the rear... Rear end will be a 9" with adjustable lowers and uppers on the triangulated 4 bar.... Should ride ok and handle great!!!!

Just had a guy in today inquiring about a competition type 'glass Merc.... If he decides to have one built, might as well sell both Camaro's, the pickup, and the Ranchero..... won't have any time at all to work on my own stuff.... Geez, I thought retirement would be easier!!!!!!
