The new qtr will be welded in. I wasn't real impressed with the upper lip of the re-production qtr though. (I know, I know, what else is new?) Anyway, it wasn't near as defined as the original body line, so just cut a piece out of the new qtr and then trace it on to the existing qtr, and then cut the original qtr below the body line and "inside" the trace line. Then, trim it to fit the replacement, tack the new qtr, get it to fit right and then finish the welds.
The wheel house will probably need to be replaced as well but there's already one sitting in the shop for just that purpose.
As for the rail road sign, maybe I'll build me a rat rod some day so I might need it. I think I will hold on to it.
Sometimes NOW are the "good old days"...
