Duel engines, why not duel 4 speeds huh Dave? They have 6 speeds now, that would just be the next natural step, an 8 speed!!!
Even a Ford sometimes Lt1?.... oh no, not a Ford...No way....not a sweet old Ford!!HeHeHe!!
Looking Good shawnlee, getting real close to slapping some paint on her. I think that red and white will look really good on that body style. I have a set of those wheels on my car now too, but I had to really look for some shallow lug nuts for them. They make a nice accent, but my dream wheel for my car would be a set of Krager five spokes, 15's on the rear and 14's on the front. Keep us informed on the progress."Sunshine, a street rod and a winding beautiful Ozarks road is truely Bliss!"

Looking VERY good Shawnlee, even if it is a chebbie. I remember when you started it, you've done some great work and should be proud of it. The red and white would be kewl. Same colors as my '71 is going to be, but I doubt if we will wind up side by side at too many lights!!!!! Keep up the great work, and keep us updated.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Don't forget to put a rugged hitch on the rear to help our ford friends get home

I was thinking of asking my son in Sacramento to spot me one of his honda motors.

460 shawnLee? that is a chebby truck is it not? Why would one ASK for Ford complications if you didn't need them!!!
Chebby to Chebby and Ford to ford is how I like to see it but I understand why guys use the more inexpensive chevy engines. But to put a Ford in a chebby is almost sacreligous!

Why heck Shawnlee. thats just barely broke in! I suppose it would be rather scary with that big engine but I'm still a little uncomfortable even thinking along those lines, I wouldn't want to help start a fad!!
I picked up a set of outside door handles off of a 97 Grand prix today, they will work really cool on the ol' 48. I decided not to go with soleniods, after seeing one catch on fire in a 47 buick this summer, I am a little leary. These handles are very sleek and I think that they will look good. I just have to figure out how to get them to work around the window channel."Sunshine, a street rod and a winding beautiful Ozarks road is truely Bliss!"

It's been a very busy year. Haven't hardly touched the "Z" since last Feb. But now things are slowing down as they usually do this time of year, so I'm going to see what I can get done before the spring rush starts again(Usually Feb.).
Got to finish the mid plate and some bracing for the front end, then it's finally time to weld it all together.
Driver's side bell end and axle have been shipped off to match up a set of Wilwood brakes. Should be shipping them soon."PLAN" your life like you will live to 120.

Good to hear you'll have a little time to get back on the car Pro Z. Both good and bad having it set there and no time to work on it, huh????Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

I bet your happy to get into her again pro70! I hope that you do get some time this winter, I myself have had to put my car on hold after the last few cold waves. This is my work space after the last storm came through, another cover bites the dust!
