Everybody that is currently building a car...

I been gone for awhile, Looks like CHR has too ?_ I got the bright idea to upgrade the operating systems on the 'puter and things didn't go too smooth. Devices had to had updated driver installed some drivers for OSX Tiger are not available so they had to be pitched for new stuff. Never know how many plug in devices one depends on 'til they don't work any more._

Got a few 'round the house jobs to do before I can resume work on the "Z". I built a back hoe attachment for the track loader to make the jobs go a little easier. I'll post a couple pics._

Got the ball rollin' getting_ brakes for the rear of the "Z". Sent an axle and a rear housing bell end to Wilwood to be fitted for brakes._

I've got the Ranchero back in my garage. Got some back and neck problems so I can't do a heck of a lot of work on it----just some little things. Hopefully I can hit it full time some time soon.

I've got more projects then I have time, money, or space. A couple of them are probably going to have to be sold. The Ranchero, the '27 Roadster on Deuce rails, or the '71 Ford pickup (mild custom). If anyone is interested in any of them, let me know.

My projects have slowwed down. I did acomplish putting the sunvisor on the '51 Chevy, but still havn't fabricated the middle mount I was never sent. I'm slowing down on the chevy, getting ready to start building a T performance '23 T bucket. The Chevy's body work was mostly done by my uncle, who did half fassed body work to it, pop rivited panals, lots of bondo ( used incorrectly ). The only thing I was left to do was block sand and str8ten the bondo out. So, I'm going to rip out all the crap body work and do it correctly, but I'm gonna get a start on the Bucket first. I'm still using rattle can primer, and spraying the car so it is all temporarly primed, to help void rust. My plans for the T bucket are ither a used 305 or a 330 HO deluxe crate motor, ither 1 with a TH350, tan interior, british racing green exterior, with the motor being neon green ( Dupli engine enamel is called hot rod green ) and because the gauges compleate a look that a car has, ither VDO old tyme gauges or silver platinum gauges.

My 53 F-100 has been put on the back burner due to school. I started night classes in welding and work full time. My 84 GMC Sierra (full size) will soon be getting air ride. I have the parts still in boxes neatly put away until I get the time to do it right. I just bought another S-10 (#6) and will be using it to drive daily it needed a new carb and general maintence because it sat for four years. The "while I'm at it" bug bit. I have replaced the suspension bushings and stripped all the Bell Tech stuff off of my other S-10 to be used on this S-10. I also will start taking black smithing classes on Sundays. At this rate I think the Ford will done for my daughter to take to prom. She is three now.

Well, if not for prom, then graduation for sure (from college) ??????

You think that fishing takes patience!!??:eek: It seems sometimes that time is standing still, moving in millimeters instead of feet. Slowly but surely it starts taking shape, I am almost two years in and I may be half way, maybe. But every little thing that you do just puts you much closer to completion, at least thats the attitude that I am trying to keep, the hardest thing for me is to have the patience to take the time to do it right instead of throughing it together just to be able to go down the road.

Got my new rear shocks on today , it rides and handles alot better.

Yellow 77 lubricant, which Electricians use to pull many wires through too small a conduit, comes to mind.
Or - to put it another way, can one put 10lbs. into a 5 lb. bag?
