Dave there looks to be enough room in there for 2 engines like Falcons Ice cream ride .

Well I am on a 3 day weekend . My wife works every day of it so I figured great car time . Today's weather had to be high 60's felt great with garage doors open and some Eagles on the player .

I zapped together some radiator hoses to run the flat head a little longer today . It seemed really loud so I crawled under it to find cross pipe on exhaust was broke completely apart welding it back will be soon .

Also on the Chrome Czars Car Club.com small plug there a Chicago club who put on the Hunnert Car Pile Up here locally . There I met a great guy who did some work on my 31 sheet metal well he gifted me a 4 inch recess firewall.

Today with the 37 work I began placing it in . The liquid wrench work previous owner did don't look so bad covered up .

Small vid again I love the 37 running , and pics of firewall before and where it is now . My cam will pick up wires firing really odd .

Maro is lookin' good Dave, soz' the A Bobby.
This isn't really car related (no YET anyway), but I broke down & bought 3-d software for the CNC. I can see some molds being made on this deal....

Looks real good, Bobby! Your firewall turned out really slick.
I've got the old drivetrain out and I soaked the firewall and frame down with degreaser and hit it with the powerwasher again. Came pretty clean this time. Then I wire brushed the surface rust spots and shot the front of the frame, firewall and suspension with Rustoleum Industrial Rust Reformer. We use this stuff at work for rusty pumps, pipes, etc, before we paint them and it makes a really nice surface to paint over. It dries clear except the rust spots turn black. Thought I'd try it on this and see how it comes out. It looks like I'm going to go with a 318 in this; my son in law has an 89 Dakota that got smashed when a tree fell on it in their driveway in a storm last spring. The motor sounds really good and they need some christmas $$ so it works out for both of us. I wanted something bigger but at least I can make it look and sound the part. It's not like this thing is aerodynamic enough to be really fast anyway.

The aero looks great on the van, Falcon!!! However one consideration to smooth out the aero package just a bit would be to have matching mirrors....looks like the left side mirror might have a bit more drag then the left.......

Dont get me started; if I try that it'll never get it back together! I guess we could call it a poor man's Hummer since they're both made by AM General.

LOL! I never noticed the mirrors were different until you said something. At least one of them will have to go...

    1958 Chevy Biscayne 2 door

    Hey, all.
I am new here. Great forum. Came for answers and other things. I am currently stationed overseas with the National Guard. I was browsing a local classified site from ND and found this 58 Chevy 2 door Biscayne for 2500 and immediately called him. My wife is working with him right now to get it. I had a 4 door Biscayne in high school. I have been searching for a 4 door or 2 door for the better part of almost 15 years now and this popped up. It runs with a 350/350 combo but needs work. I love the Impala from American Graffiti so I am borrowing a few styling cues. I am also an auomotive artist and have done a few quick sketches in the pas few days. I pretty much got the interior and body nailed down now I got a few odds and ends before I do some finished pics. One problem I have encountered is I love the look of Amerian 5 spoke unpolished mags. I tried to put them on and now they do not look right. Any other wheel suggestions. I thought of chrome reversed but am not trying to make a duplicate of the "Graffiti" car. I would like to keep it late 50s early 60s. It has wheels like the General Lee right now. Another thing is I was thinking of using 3 dueces or for the hell of it maybe getting a C67 manifold and dressing it up. Later I am leaning twards a Supercharged 409 which will blow the previous stated look out of the water but I love the look of the nasty blower. The interior will be all tuck n' roll and later I would like to switch to a 4 or 5 speed manual. For now I am getting a Hurst ratchet shifter but am trying to figure out if i can get the extended one and not use the console just a shift boot. Any ideas?
