It's just to get the carb hat & plumbing mocked up for now. But even a little progress is progress I guess."PLAN" your life like you will live to 120.

Almost done
Heres a couple of shots of the chassis that I am putting together for my 65 Chevelle SS.
It is a 'bolt in' using the factory body mount locations w/ very little floor pan work. The only 'bushings' used are Moly impregnated nylon in the lower a-frames. Everything else is either Teflon lined heim joints or spherical bearings.
spindles are GM B-body with a C4 rack handling the turning chores.
Theres a few widgets and dammits yet to be completed, but the majority of the fab work is done.

Looks like the handling part of the Chevelle will be very impressive . This is what some vendors should do at shows . Drive a stock suspension car then get in one that has this type of work . Feeling the difference so close in time would be great .

Hey pro70, is that the big open plane manifold that you are getting?
I will believe it when I see it Dave, maybe just restoring the body will satisfy the urge to cut but the jury is out.
That is a really clean chasis Doug, what a great base for your project."Sunshine, a street rod and a winding beautiful Ozarks road is truely Bliss!"
