dougie's helpful comments just touched on the high points, and it's good to see someone who's been there be frank about the kind of job it is. When you add in the cost to rebuild the donor that you thought of, the price goes up some more.
Check here for a bolt in MII front crossmember. There are some who believe that a bolt in for your vintage of GM car is more compatible with the way the frame flexes along it length.
