    new project

Well found a 41 Ford truck that I've started work on. Cut the box 12" and keeping the stock frame, but boxing it. Found a nova front end and will start putting that together soon. For power I'm using a 59A block that will be built up with either 2 or 3 rochester cabs instead of the strombergs. Will have a 8" ford rear with 3:50 gears and will for now keep the origional tranny. Should hold up if I'm not foot heavy. Will post pictures as I go along.

Streets Never done a complete build up on a vehicle before and having fun doing this with a friend who's done many. The 41 is not me, but I persuaded my buddy to let me work with him so when we finish I can do mine which is probably going to be either a 37 or 38 ford coupe. The frame is in good shape and has been sandblasted. No stress cracks.

Sounds like a cool new project...Personally, I like the way they look, and I'm sure it'll be great when you're done!

Thanks Angel I had a 41 ford truck when I was a young 18 and have always like the style. Matt, my friend who owns this new project is being pressured to sell it just the way it stands now and I can't really blame matt since the guy who is willing to buy it is offering a hell of alot of money, but will have to wait and see.

chevy37 - I thought you might like to see a drawing that I did a couple of years ago...I'm not sure how clear this will post, I scanned it into my computer, but I'm not sure what the quality will be!
