    Thumbs up Name that Tranny!!

I found a tranny for a great price that the guy says is an "overdrive 700" GM tranny. He is not sure of the year, he had it in a camaro he restored untill it was t-boned. It has a one wire switch that supposebly kicks in the overdrive. It does have one wire comeing out of it on the left side along with the speedo. The oil lines come out the right side. Does anybody have a glue on how I can tell what this is and if it is worth me messing with. Thanks everyone.

Not to much ProZ, it had a larger body than that or maybe the bell housing looked smaller, and the line hook-ups where down more underneath it. There was no tailshaft sticking out past the rear mount. It seemed long and wide compared to that one.

Hi chuck, am an pumped about your car, very cool. I didn't buy the tranny because I wasn't sure of what it was. All I do know is that it has a locking torgue converter in it.
