Thinking about chopping my Taxi
Hello all,
I have a 1966 Checker Marathon. (Pic Attached) I've been considering chopping it down lately and I have a few questions.
1. It's nice having a car that is cool to drive and also very useful. The trunk is huge, overheard clearance is huge, backseat is huge, etc. Do you all miss having the extra headroom?
2. It has sofa seats in front and back and I sit pretty upright up front. Would I need to get rid of the sofa seats and install buckets if I wanted to consider chopping?
3. Since my car is a 66' the glass in front and back is somewhat curved although the sides are not. Would I need a custom glass piece made or do most of you who chop find a smaller glass piece and mold it into the design somehow?
4. Does anyone here work with photoshop and could produce some images of what my car would look like chopped? Or does anyone know anywhere on the internet I could have that done? Thanks. Matt
As a hobby I keep ten beehives. My queen bees are now getting older and slowing down, so I ordered ten more queens from an apiarist. They arrived, but there were eleven arrived in their containers....
