Thanks T top, I'm fond of the blue too. I'm getting ready to paint another of mine in a similar blue, but with illusion buried under a candy coat so you won't see the shift until the light hits it. Should look cool under stage lights and outdoors in the sun.
My guitars are Fenders from the early 90's, they have original floyd rose tremolos (I have a few of these), they are my work horse gig guitars and will do all styles of music when needed. I made the pickguards, painted and assembled them. Do all my own work, also do work for a few music stores and clients in my spare time.
I used to build my own when I was younger, but kinda got out of it. I'm kinda thinking about making a few as requested. Myself, I'm mostly a Strat guy, lusted for one when I was a teenager, bought one as soon as I could afford one and been playing them ever since. Got my first floyd in the late eighties it was a original B.C. Rich Warlock 6 string (I had lusted for a floyd for awhile), at first I hated it as it would go flat when bending notes, but soon learned its quirks and been playing them ever since (of course now they're all Strats).
I've worked with several of the GOTOH tremolos, standard strat style and their lic. floyds, they are quality units. If you are you having trouble with yours, let me know what the trouble is and perhaps I can help you iron it out.
