I can't criticise; I used to own one.
We were going through a somp (shortage of money period) at the time. It was a wagon, and we did over 200,000 miles in it. Replaced the timing chain tensioner twice, and replaced top gear once. (It was a 5sp manual.)
That wee car really worked for its keep. It was our farm truck, and carried many heavy loads home: concrete water troughs, fence posts, concrete blocks, drainage tiles, fencing wire by the ton...you name it.
It would have to be the best-value-for-money car we've ever owned.
Mind you, when we sold it, it was absolutely buggered.

'64 A.C. Cobra replica. Ford 429, C6 auto, Torana ifs, Jaguar irs.
