I think you should put your phone on charge, lie down and get some rest.
.
Harley V twin or VW TDI
Suzuki Hayabusa all the way! Less weight and much more compact. The stock Suzi 170 or so HP should be enough considering the original engine was in the 50 hp range and I imagine several of those ponies have escaped over the years! It is a Fiat after all!
We'll see if Ryan can find a motor without spark plugs to put in it !
I can't criticise; I used to own one.
We were going through a somp (shortage of money period) at the time. It was a wagon, and we did over 200,000 miles in it. Replaced the timing chain tensioner twice, and replaced top gear once. (It was a 5sp manual.)
That wee car really worked for its keep. It was our farm truck, and carried many heavy loads home: concrete water troughs, fence posts, concrete blocks, drainage tiles, fencing wire by the ton...you name it.
It would have to be the best-value-for-money car we've ever owned.
Mind you, when we sold it, it was absolutely buggered.
Scrap value only.
That's impressive ! It's amazing what you can make a car do when you really don't care about it. I had a cavalier that I treated like I pick up, nothing close to what you did with your Fiat, but it got a lot of stuff done
I'm sure you could put a VW rabbit sized diesel and drive train in it.
