    A 3000 stall, 10" converter is very streetable.

    Just so you don't embarrass yourselves, Ford didn't make a Galaxy until 1959. If it's a '57, it's a Fairlane 500 or a Custom 300 and likely has a Y-block motor in it unless there has been a swap. FE motors showed up in '58. Try to nail down what he has so we can help you do the right thing. Ford is notoriously mystical with their numbers, so good luck.
