Got my oil changed today and something seems odd. Got the Brad Penn 20W-50 oil, Fram HP4 oil filter which is what I took off. I put 4 1/2 quarts in as I'm not sure how much the engine holds and that put it at the full mark on the stick. I started the engine to check for leaks. No leaks and good oil pressure so I let it come up to operating temp. The oil level is at the full mark when it was cold. I would have thought the oil filter would have taken at least 1/2 quart if not 1. After it warmed up the level was over the full mark. Whatya think? Wrong dipsticks??? I hate to overfill it.
