Ryan, I will get the guys number this weekend, he won the cowl at the NSRA giveaway this memorial weekend so he should make a "deal". Go to Curry's Hot Rods Inc. ~ 417-332-2667 ~ Southwest Missouri's ONLY Full Service Rod Shop & Hot Rod Retail Store! and then go to gallery and pic project cars, thats Tony Curry's web site and he is building a 32 woody, one of the best, nicest and talented rod builders in Missouri ( shop is south of Springfield) It is his personal build off a Boyd Coddington sketch that was never built, I am sure he would give you any needed advice on a start, I have went with him and gave him suggestions on the woodwork, he's very talented and doesn't need shown just suggested (I have done a lot of bent wood laminating) you can see his subfloor that is fastened to the frame, everything is built off of it (the way Hercules builds 'em) these thing sell for big bucks, I have several books on woodies and was actually a woody club member for several years, I might be able to get you some info if I remember where I put it, I also have Chiavettas plans somewhere. Why is mine so big and yours so small, Chrysler FirePower

Member Mike52 shared pictures of some woodies under construction with me several years back, taken on one of his visits to talk to the guy that does all of the cars at The Hercules Motor Car Company in Tampa - Herculesmotorcarcompany - Hercules Motor Car Company inc As I recall, Cecil starts with flat sheet metal and builds the cowl section from scratch, then forms the wood structure with steel bracing, replicating the OEM designs closely. Quite a craftsman!Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

All those are pretty cool, but for "one that never was...." I've always been impressed by this one...........Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.
Luck occurs when preparation and opportunity converge.

But then, if you feel ambitious and have a good carving hand, there's this one (yes the whole body formed in wood)...Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

There is a complete woody body kit for sale on the H.A.M.B. right now; the title of the post on the "cars for sale" is "32 Ford Woody Project".

A wooden firewall doesn't seem like the best idea.
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.

This guy actually returned my call today. I see the link says the ad has been deleted. Anyhow, he told me 3 times it was a part of the Boyd Coddington collection and it recently sold at BJ for $87 or $81k. He aquired it, then tore it apart, sand blasted everything and put sealer on it. Now he wants $100k for it. Yep, not for me.
