Nash woodie. Look at a 40 Nash, might surprise you how close to ford it is. If later Nash or rambler woodie from the 50's
Member Mike52 shared pictures of some woodies under construction with me several years back, taken on one of his visits to talk to the guy that does all of the cars at The Hercules Motor Car Company in Tampa - Herculesmotorcarcompany - Hercules Motor Car Company inc As I recall, Cecil starts with flat sheet metal and builds the cowl section from scratch, then forms the wood structure with steel bracing, replicating the OEM designs closely. Quite a craftsman!
All those are pretty cool, but for "one that never was...." I've always been impressed by this one...........
But then, if you feel ambitious and have a good carving hand, there's this one (yes the whole body formed in wood)...
Wow, that would be quite a job right there! That is really cool.
Ryan, Tried to send you a PM but your box is full, send me one after you empty some space and I will send you the guys name and number with the 32 firewall (not a full cowl) but the price is right!
There is a complete woody body kit for sale on the H.A.M.B. right now; the title of the post on the "cars for sale" is "32 Ford Woody Project".

A wooden firewall doesn't seem like the best idea
Ryan, check this out on Craigslist tonight. Albuquerque New Mexico
Boyd Cottington Work in Progress
That looks like a great project, hard to beat really! I don't know who Boyd Cottington is (I do know hwo Boyd Coddington was), but I have to think the lawsuit in the link at the end is stopping all the claims and now they are playing the name thing

That 40 does look like a great project! I'm guessing the price is a fake one.
