the reason you have your cars

i would like to see some pix of your rides and the reason you have them
well the reason i have mine is i have always loved the 50s models wagon then in 1999 i saw the orange krisp wagon
a 55 ford wagon like mine i would like to have one like that
it took me three years then i found one
the car has been a hassle but to me its worth it
how many 55 ford wagons are on the rode
hopefully mine will be on the rode during the summer time

i saw a mazda about 5 years ago that was laid out on big billet wheels(17's were big back then!lol) with a one color paint job. i knew from there what i wanted to do to my truck. im in the process of swapping in a 350/th350 as we speak. i cant wait to fire them 8 cylinders up through 3 chamber flowmasters.

Reason i have mine is i remember when i was about 13/14 years old we were behind a 70 chevelle at a light and it musta had a healthy cam in it cus i remember it sounding very cool

Long story short that was the day i fell in love with muscle cars and now at 32 years old i have had a number of hot rods and currently am in the process of building a 69 gto with a blown 540.

I had a blast drag racing back in the 60's and wanted to give it one more try. Over the past whatever years I did manage to dabble maybe twice a year. Once it's in the blood, it never goes away. My God, have things changed!

Because I had the Ranchero, and there's not many others on the street. Just thought it was time for something different.

current rides: 79 lincoln continental. Why? Hmm, wanted a newer lincoln cause i was selling real estate and wanted a 4 door luxo ride. got this one in decent condition cheap - the REAL little old lady car. I like it, but have no passion for it (it gets comments by the tuckload mostly due to its size). Still have it as no one has wanted to buy it.

93 taurus daily driver - $600. had $1400 in new parts PLUS trans and 4 tires. 'nuff said

96 grand caravan - kids. wife. big dog. 300 watt stereo. no pick up truck, so this is the parts hauler.

As for the Next One - Jeep Wrangler, 60s or early 70s full size convertible (ford or GM likely).

Yeah, my life is real exciting huh?
