After driving it 285 miles this weekend, new shocks (34 year old ones squeak), new front dash speaker (wife blew the original trying to drowned out the shock squeak ), a rebuilt power steering box (old box has been adjusted as best as possible already), and a return to the stock crossover muffler exhaust (at 70-80 miles an hour for long periods of time I got a headache in the enclosed cockpit environment).
Other than that, the car ran flawlessly, no hiccups, no issues at all.
Even won a 2nd place behind my friends beautiful Grabber Blue GT500 fastback (I cannot compete against the draw of his polished and chromed weber set up)......

Instead of being part of the problem, be part of a successful solution.

Congrats Bill! If those Webers performed as good as they looked on an engine, Holley would be out of business!!!!! Besides snagging a trophy, had to of been a good shakedown run for the Shelby!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Learning must be difficult for those who already know it all!!!!
on small cars yes. but fat fender cars are pretty much the same in size and weight as the donor car. i found s10 brakes work great on fat fender and pickups. a deuce will just need manual brakes...
Time for brakes
