This weekend we took the '56 Merc to the Vintage Rods Rod Run in Carthage, Missouri. Took some pictures so I thought I would share with you guys.

That is a real nice Merc - one of my boys used to call them "mucrees" - don't see many of them around anymore. Thanks for the pics.Rrumbler, Aka: Hey you, "Old School", Hairy, and other unsavory monickers.
Twistin' and bangin' on stuff for about sixty or so years; beat up and busted, but not entirely dead - yet.

Is that your Mercury in the first photo, if so, wow, absolutely gorgeous. I have a soft spot for Pre-49 Rods and heck all there were outstanding, so thanks for posting.
I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

well I decided to do another mod to gain max travel of bars past the intended travel points just for that peace of mind. 1/8 inch is to close so now I'll have 1/2" or better. I cut a 3/16" wall...
