I am thinking the same as you RSpears.. don't remember a 62 having "park" for wipers.

When you turned the switch to off, it didn't open (the switch) until the end of the stroke, my memory says fwiw...

Yep, your motor guy will know right off the bat from the motor inputs & limit switch wiring. If it doesn't have that third "hot" input running through a "park" position limit switch then you turn off the wipers before you shut down - not a big deal at all.

Brief Wiper Motor update if I may?
Drove up to my friends shop that had my wiper motor fixed and learned what I "need" to know about finishing up this project.

The motor has two hot leads going into it - - - one is run and one is park. I also took the switch and he figured out what I needed to do and recommended that I use the old switch even tho it's probably not the OE that came from the factory. Since I CAN NOT get under the dash to access the fuse block, I'm coming from the engine bay with an inline fuse and there will be an ignition served hot wire going into the switch and two leads coming from the switch to the motor. It gets it's ground from the mounting plate.

I'll let Y'all know if it runs and parks after I wire and install it.

Hope everyone has a great weekend,
    Em
