Tom,
You've got reasons to be very proud! The Chevy looks fantastic, and well planned for each step. It sits right, and the paint is killer. Especially like the very tasteful pinstriping. Great job on the car, and on giving credit to the guys who helped you get there. I hope to see you at one of the regional gatherings one day!!Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

Thanks Roger. We literally picked the car up the day before we went to The Early Tin Dusters Fall Color Run in Quincy, Illinois. We still have some detail stuff to complete, like cleaning up the fuel injection wiring and hoses in the engine compartment and some other minor stuff.
We received the "Most Promising" award at Quincy last year (2011) before the car was painted. We are planning to take the car to The NSRA Mid America Nationals (Is it still called that?) in Springfield, MO. and the Good Guys Heartland Nationals in Des Moines, IA. next year. The best and most fun part is...we drive it to every show we attend. And the car drives wonderfully. I couldn't be happier with it. Hope to see you at one of the shows.
