My x-brother-in-law and I built a 1951 MG TD.He got it out of Texas with a SBC 283 and a three speed stick and sprung rear end.
We did a frame up build.Swapped out the 283 for a cam'ed 327 with a Man-A-Fre induction system,four speed rock crusher and a vett IRS.15 coats of black hand sanded paint and Naugahyde interior.It's still around living in Florida.The only picture I have is this one:
