Neat unit!!! Tube chassis cars have such excellent stability and inherent strength they will handle like a slot car with even mediocre suspension!!!! Would be a fun build, for sure!!!!! For street, I'd lower the frame considerably and use a halo bar on the top of the cage vs. the setup this car has for the sand. Same weight and amount of material, just a lot better protection.

I've been trying to talk to the shop owner to see if he would "tweak" some things for me, but he's on a 8 month lead time and he doesn't want to experiment......

Yeah, most of the shops don't want to change what they build.... That's why I like to build one off's, no customers whining about how so-and-so got a better chassis, better deal, or whatever!!!!
