My time has been very limited lately with everything going on. The kids are just finishing county fair and 4H. There was a lot of hours spent getting projects finished and a lot of running around done.
I continue to try and get work done to the 40 though. Clint wanted to help so I showed him how to apply some brush able seam sealer, and also how to start installing the kill mat sound/heat insulation.
I finally got the dash painted and had a friend add a silver stripe between the 2 colors. I am now trying to find the glove box door hardware so I can stick it back on. I painted the windshield garnish moldings, the dash stash box hinges, steering wheel top and bottom covers, and the driver's door garnish molding. I have to fix some cracks in my steering wheel and then I'll get it painted.
The boys went to a yard sale and bought 3 boxes of previously crappily put together models last week. One of them painted something in the garage and got over spray on my dash. I got it to buff out but what a pain in the rear.....
I did get my American Shifter, shifter installed. Talk about a crap show. It fought me every bit of the install. I had to make a new bell crank lower to be able to get this to work with my larger trans cooler lines. Now I can finish the trans tunnel and put the dash in?
