Charlie,,funny thing is,,the LHD American imports must nearly outnumber the NZ new American cars..With the 50s/60s/70s stuff,at least..We got very little later model stuff,until the import restrictions were eased,then the flood gates opened..Parts??yup,,we have it all,,we might have done you a favor,cos I bet a lot of cars were boxed up and shipped down here,instead of being junked..What do ya need,fellas??

John...the South Island is like a different country to the North Island..We have some awesome scenery in both islands,,but they have better earthquakes than us... oops,,did I say that?? They are also very strong rodding wise down there,and have a lot of American cars that came into the south with the American servicemen who were at the Operation Deep Freeze base in Christchurch..They found they could bring their cars down here,and usually there were newowners waiting for them to sell at the end of their service down here..
