Guys,,that is one of the nicest spots for a car show/display,that we have been to in ages..Its no surprise that the reason they get several hundred cars,is,I would think,the fact that its only a couple of hours from Auckland,very central location,and the shade,,in fact,the whole feeling in the domain is relaxing..And it was a hot day too..And as you can see,it brings the whole spectrum of classics,rods,kustoms,,etc,out for the day..

Roger(Spears),,what you guys need to do is find an enterprising dude to organise a rodding tour,(we have several guys doing this here,for trips to USA)cos you guys could spend four weeks here and cover quite a bit of territory..

35fordcoupe,,a very large percentage of the later model cars you can see here,are in fact imports,that have started life in America..And we are only now beginning to have the privelige of importing new/near new cars,,but there are a few strings attached..
Roger(blowby),you need to come home in November for a look,,This has been going for a few years now,,and not getting any smaller..Every year,another 100 cars turn up..Estimated 850-900 this year..Ohh,and did I mention that it is a CHARITY event??Usually gold coin entry$1,$2 coin,,last year,about $3000 donated to charity..
