your not going to find a good muncie around here for 300. them days are long gone .i use to buy them cheap in need of a rebuild most have had the hell beat out of them and have busted off case ears and 4 gear is shot synchronizer drums are shot along with forks from bone heads driving with there hand on the shifter they started to make hard parts for them some time ago the price has jump so hi around here on a good rebuilt muncie that it.s cheaper to but a new 4 speed then a re hash pice of junk less you know the history of the trans going in to the re build .a top loader is a better trans for hi power but the sagnaw will work for some time guys use to run them on the streets when i was kid with bbc s in front of them some i was told had a lower first gear like the vega box
