I hear ya loud and clear, I just finished mine, ( "done and painted" here on this board ) And it took me 6 weeks to block and prime and re block and re prime and guide coat it and more blocking, but the pain ( in the hind end ) all went away when I pulled the tape and put it back together. It is worth the effort, just keep going and like Doc said a little here and there and all of a sudden you're in paint.
