what style of intake makes good torque
i'm looking for an intake that gives really good bottem end and midrange and theres tons of intakes out there single plane, dual plane ,air gap what should i be looking for......

I agree with Richard. The dual plane generate power in the idle to 5500RPM, where you single plane creates the power in the 2,500-6,500 range.Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!

Jayman,
If you are building a higher HP motor, the Edlebrock RPM Airgap is the way to go. They have on for regular heads as well as Vortec heads. If you want a stock HP-383 intake for Vortec heads I have a brand new one for sale.
