    Talking what style of intake makes good torque

     



    i'm looking for an intake that gives really good bottem end and midrange and theres tons of intakes out there single plane, dual plane ,air gap what should i be looking for......

    I agree with Richard. The dual plane generate power in the idle to 5500RPM, where you single plane creates the power in the 2,500-6,500 range.

    Jayman,
    If you are building a higher HP motor, the Edlebrock RPM Airgap is the way to go. They have on for regular heads as well as Vortec heads. If you want a stock HP-383 intake for Vortec heads I have a brand new one for sale.

    Cruizin in March, gads.... This years toy is so far from done, not sure I'll be out in June!!!!! Might not get it done till fall then go south and cruize with Tech and Co. next winter.......

    Dave You'll be out this summer if you have to work all night to finish your rod. You know, once its gets warm you gotta drive something besides your winter rat.
