    Question yellow scum

     



    I took the timming cover off and theres this yellow scum on the inside of the timming cover and i could see it in the oil pan to...
    i fired it up a few times over the winter i was maybe thinkin it was moisture??? i'm running valvolene synthetic maybe that it i dont know...

    Gas usually leaves a yellow scum behind when it evaporates. Does your oil smell like gas?

    I wouldn't know, I can't get Sunoco fuel in California.

    Its probably gas if its yellow. If it was water in the oil, it would be white.
