Thanks! Have been going through the car and have found no major issues.
Replaced most of the relays, cleaned and lubed all the solenoids, replaced alternator (dead), MSD (dead), battery (really dead), replaced ignition switch and moved it to dash (missing parts/keys). Ordered rubber channels to make window channels (missing), Ordered new speakers (blown), new shifter (mangled & too tall). Tires coming from Tire Rack (all 4 are 10 years old and one already has a bubble in the thread). Adjusted carb and belts. Trying to figure out how to latch down the hood (PO must have driven it with painter's tape as there are NO latches holding it down). Trying to figure out what to do about missing molding on the outside rear window (missing) & trying to clean up the missing finish pieces on the interior, especially around the front window. Ordered some Chrome Hood Latches as on a '32 Ford, but with 90 degree bend on base (from a BAJA/VW) dealer, which should work. Just notices 2 cracks in the paint, probably fiber glass cracks. Anyone know how difficult (or expensive) it is to repair fissures?
