It stopped raining, the temp went into the high 70s and something bright yellow was hanging in that strange blue sky. I was able to pry the basement shop open and lo and behold, was able to push the roadster out to start it up for the first time since Dec. 6, 2010. And having an Edelbrock carb, took 8-10 revolutions to pull the gas from the tank. The long rest didn't hurt a thing - runs like a top, the tires will have a few less miles left .

This was the first run with the top and hood on the car - what an appearance difference. I did make one observation - I'll need wind wings to keep some of the breeze out, so, need to order at least the brackets tomorrow then possibly have Lexan cut instead of glass.

That VDO speedometer may become history - couldn't get it to work right, so ended up using my GPS for speed and distance. I'll give it another try, but it had the same problem last year.

Dam' that was a nasty springtime we've had to date - a month plus late doing my first drive of the year
