Ok, I've been in the middle of upgrades all evening, and while things are coming together, certainly not perfect yet. Hang in there.

I know the gallery is ugly at the moment, but I'll get that updated over the next day or so.

The new software has more features and will be better, so give it a chance.

The upgrade was inevitable, as the new software package (that you see now) is far more stable and easier to work with than the old one. Give Brent some time, he will get the options down, then you will be able to modify your preferences to come close to the original that you are used to. Might take him the weekend to work it all out. Chane is hard to take sometimes, I know, but this one is for the better.

I always try to be totally honest, even if I get my foot in my mouth sometimes, but I really, really dislike this new format. I was on another forum that went to a very similar one, and I ended up not going back because it was just too hard to navigate and too unfamiliar. We had such an easy forum to scroll through and it felt like an old pair of loafers. This new one is too "different". I know some will say give it a chance, but like I mentioned, I gave the other forum a chance for weeks and it never got any better.

I'm actually sad right now to see the old format go away. Our old one was something special...............PLEASE bring it back!

Yeah I figured out a couple of things. And YES I Hate change. And I know there might be other reasons for the change, than just to tee me off. I can't help it sometimes, ie see user name, Your heart attack, was my wanting to throw computer across garage.......... But then I don't even own a vehicle with a computer in it either. I'll figure it out.......... unless I do throw the computer.....

As a user, you guys see 60% of the changes, as a moderator, I see 99% of them. Figured out all but the way to change the preference for viewing in different color "sets",it may or may not be an option that Brent has loaded or approved yet. For now I'm checking links to see what is broken (gallery has some error messages this AM)......Hang in there guys, it will not be as bumpy a ride as the last time.......

Totally agree Don, I'm not sure how to find any of the old threads.

Guys, change happens for a reason, give Brent some time to work the bugs out and after I am sure he will set preferences for viewing (colors and such) so that you can customize to your tastes.

All of the old threads are still within their own sub sections:

Second it............. My original post was a much tamed down version of the S.O.B. that I almost screamed when I logged on this morning. I thought WTF NOW. I've visited several sites. But there are only 2 I check regularly and the other has too many prima donnas that say too much and know too little. This place was the one I really used to enjoy. I'm lost now, maybe just too stubborn to look around to find what I want. Sitting here thinking what do I do now???? While I realize it takes a lot of work to keep this up, and maybe the new software will make it easier for Brent to do just that, it's a hard pill to swallow right now.

Maybe a Wake is in order............. Oh well Don look at it on the brite side..... more time to actually work on the project.......... no posts to read, or pesky threads to start or respond to........... always an up side........... Crap now where's the danged spell check........................

I'm going to withhold judgement for a while, but I really dislike change for the sake of that change. That's why I still use XP instead of MS Vista or 7 and Firefox instead of IE. More bells and whistles don't always make for success. Minimal folks use them. So, I'll go away and over to other sites today and hope this makes sense later
