Hell hath no fury like a '68 Camaro scorned

    Hey gents...pleased to meet ya.

I recently picked up a '68 Camaro in decent shape, I used to have one when I was younger and have regretted selling it. The first one I bought was pretty much mint and required no work...the second is in primer with severely decayed interior. I want to feel the way I did when I drove around in my last one so it is time for me to start learnin things....so I can really figure out what I want to do with this baby!

Presently the mufflers are barely attached and knock precariously against the undercarraige when I turn a corner. I kinda think I would like to go with some side pipes this time (more of the cutom street-rod look than stock) but dont know how they sound, whether they are functional.....not really even sure if they would look good on a 68 Camaro?

Also I wanted to pull the nasty 2-speed powerglide tranny out and put in a TH-350.....that a good tranny for a 327 and are shift kits worth while in your opinions?

Not really sure what to do yet....dont really know enough about the automotive realm to really ask the right questions....but would be great to skim through the forums and read about your dream cars and what you have done to them...then maybe I would have a better idea of what I want to do to turn mine from the primered self that it is into the obnoxious sounding, aggressive-looking idea that is in my head.

    Take care yawl.
