Lincoln Zephyr Revisited.
Ok,so I am SLACK...[dont everyone agree at once]
...
Some of you may remember the Deco Rides Lincoln Zephyr I had to restyle/modify..etc.Well,after many hours of building, and fine tuning,''Big Dave'''Kindberg has got it 99.75% finished,,driveable, still tweaking bits and pieces..In fact,it was entered in the indoor show at the Kumeu festival in January[told ya I was slack]and won the Peoples Choice award, while still not techically driveable...in fact the computer had tossed a hissy fit,and we had to push the great slug into the building..
I cant remember what pix I put up before,so here are a couple or three, and hit the link for the rest..

Got some somewhere else of it in the show..Try to find them..

Okay, found them,,and a few of the cars that were in the indoor show as well..

Yeah, forgot to mention...Lincoln took Peoples Choice and Best Commercial..Last edited by lamin8r; 04-01-2011 at 02:05 AM.

And the guy sitting in the Phoenix,F/Car,is the owner of the Lincoln, who just made a spot of sponsorship money available for a seat during the cacklefest..
Worthy of note...The Lincoln is wearing what could be termed a ''genuine'' windshield,as Deco rides had Honda units cut down, and sometimes broke them..Ron Hodgson of Custom Auto Glass,in Auckland has built the buck, and has these windshields made in Germany,to fit the Lincoln coupes and sedan deliveries..Last edited by lamin8r; 04-01-2011 at 01:46 AM.

Wow! The Lincoln has some sweet lines! Thanks for posting, even as history

Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

time for a new forum to visit. when they sold sr.com it went down hill fast. no more forum just a cheap site selling junkie cars. the canadians killed hr.com. mods are real pricks. as with any site...
Where is everybody?
