    That is the strange part, I think he did already and he got the same readings with the new gauge. Really Strange

    If he got the same readings with two different gauges, then the problem "must" be either the sending unit or a bad connection.

    Two different brand new gauges and two different brand new senders, same reading. I might get adventurous today and hook up the direct reading gauge I bought for my rpu project and see what it reads.

    I'm not really too concerned about it, I believe the radiator cap and the infared gun, plus I can hold my hand on both hoses and they are not really hot at all. I might actually be running at 170, from all the indicators.

    The other thing is that my daily driver runs at 206-212, and the dealer tells me that is normal these days.
