Mine does the same thing, Roger. And I have an attached garage with comparable temperatures.

    Lynn,
Thanks. It helps to know that it's not just mine with this experience.

Makes me wonder - mine is hooked to a Battery Tender Jr, and while the car is in a heated garage in my basement, the charger is on the floor and at the coldest place (~40*F) and it's green. I did start with a fully charged battery and had no parasitic drains like stereos or computers until I hooked up the radio about 3 weeks ago. Makes me wonder, Roger. What is the computer in your car doing to the charge rate (I seem to recall that yours is all electronic). The Jr is .75 mA and the Plus is not much bigger at 1.25 amps.

    From Deltran's website:http://batterytender.com/resources/f...sked-questions

"The Battery Tender Plus switches to float mode when the charge current drops to 0.1 amps. The result is that for an extended period of time, not to exceed 8 hours, the Battery Tender Plus output voltage will be held at a constant voltage that is significantly higher than the float voltage. "

    Dave,
I'm not sure about my ECM draw, but I never saw this situation in warmer weather - it would cycle through and always be in the "float charge" mode after a few hours. Other than the ECM I don't really have anything that draws any power other than the backlight LED's on the power window switches - the EZ Wire feed to the windows is always hot vs being an Accessory Feed. I left my accessory switch "on" overnight a few weeks ago, but again there's really not any accessory feeds other than the fan controller power and a handful of relay coils, but it may just be the low amp charge rate having trouble pushing the cells up to capacity,
