On your computer go into "your pictures" click the picture you want to post then you should see the options of what you can do to that picture (rotate/crop/resize/etc...) click resize then shrink it down. I'm not sure what the maximum size for this site if but i re sized mine down to about 150-200KB and they came out decent size when i posted them.
