What tranny are you running? OD ratio?? I'm running 4.11's, and with a 0.64 OD top gear I turn 1995rpm at 70mph, but in the lower gears it accelerates like a banshee. I built a little spreadsheet to plug in my 1,2,3,4 & 5 ratios, and when I plug in the rpm shift point it gives me MPH for each gear. That's what helped me choose 4.11's which seemed way to tall at first blush. PM me your e-mail if you want the Excel file...
