    I agree with Don: texting and "non-hands free" phone use while driving should be against the law. Might as well drive with a blindfold on.
    They did make it illegal to use hand held cell phones in Oregon, but I still see people using them all the time. hard to catch offenders that know their doing something illegal, but perhaps the law still helps save lives because it keeps people using them more aware of their surrounding as they scan to see if any police are around.
