I called them and they suggested I talk to the head of their complaint department U Ben Haad retired. There is a new lady in charge ,I think her name is Helen Waite.............they said "go to Helen Waite ", or something like that.

Seriously, I did think it was funny when I saw it. There are so many similarities, they even mounted a Flaming River Corvair type steering box up on a high pedestal, like mine. If I knew this one was coming in 2011 I would have just waited and saved a whole lot of fabricating and designing!

And Bob, for you information, I DO have a comb...........only it has less teeth than the normal ones.

Don they are calling their version Project 4.999K. I like the color they chose for the rear wheels, reminds me of something!

Yeah, they couldn't build theirs for $ 3K either, Steve!! I can't complain too much, I used some earlier cars for ideas when I built this one, like Cotton Worksman (I think that is his correct last name) who build a T like this back in the 70's. But I still think they should name this one "Tribute to Don's T"...........I like the sound of that one.

I have always admired your car, I think I have told you that many times. When you hit the mark, like you did, It doesn't surprise me at the least. Imitation Is The Highest Form Of Flattery........I'm not so sure of that sometimes

That's a cool little truck, Steve. I thought of punching holes in my Model A crossmember too, but basically, I'm lazy.

On a side note, the new owner of my T called yesterday. Said he made the trip home fine, but the ride on the interstate was a "little windy." I never noticed that, but I'm 5'9", and he is about 6 feet tall. Bet that extra wind resistance slowed the car down a lot too.
